Woo York – Levitate

Ukrainian live and production duo Woo York return to Watergate Records with the two-track ‘Levitate’ EP, taking their sound into a more reduced and techno-rooted direction.

‘Warlock’ is built around trademark Woo York 303 lines, unfolding through a deeper, more hypnotic groove and gradually shifting layers. ‘Levitate’ continues in a similarly spacious direction, balancing melody and atmosphere with a more direct techno pulse.

There is something deliberately focused in the approach: fewer oversized moments, more attention to repetition, movement and the details that reveal themselves gradually on the dancefloor. ‘Warlock’ and ‘Levitate’ feel unmistakably Woo York, with the duo continuing to evolve their sound while keeping its darker, more hypnotic core firmly intact.
