Daniel Orpi – Want You

Following standout appearances at AND DANCE events in Lima and the iconic Fabrik Madrid, Daniel Orpi now makes his long-awaited debut on the imprint with a release that perfectly captures the label’s forward-thinking club sound. Featuring the title track Want You alongside the equally powerful B-side La Isla, this EP is a masterclass in modern tech house built for peak-time dancefloors.

Leading the release, Want You delivers a heavy-hitting bassline-driven groove infused with unmistakable UK influences. Punchy drums, sharp synth stabs and a seductive vocal hook combine to create an irresistible club weapon, channeling the stripped-back, rolling energy reminiscent of the East End Dubs sound while maintaining Daniel Orpi’s unmistakable identity.

On the flip side, La Isla shifts the focus towards a more percussion-led journey. Crisp open hats, driving rhythms and expertly layered grooves steadily build tension before an enormous lead melody explodes into a powerful drop. It’s a track designed to command festival stages and packed club dancefloors alike, showcasing Orpi’s ability to balance groove, energy and atmosphere.

With Want You, Daniel Orpi delivers one of his strongest releases to date, further cementing his reputation as one of Spain’s most exciting exports in house music. This outstanding two-track package is another statement release for AND DANCE, continuing the label’s commitment to championing world-class underground talent and delivering music that resonates from intimate clubs to the biggest festival stages.
