Alesso has kicked off 2026 at full speed. From his massive collaboration with Pendulum and a headline-grabbing back-to-back set with Martin Garrix on Ultra’s main stage, to launching his brand-new live concept and tour, *The One*, the Swedish star continues to dominate the electronic scene. Keeping that momentum alive — while also releasing the full recording of his Red Rocks performance in Colorado — Alesso now teams up with rising Canadian producer JOA for their explosive new single, “Turn Up The Bass,” out now via Body Hi.

Built around vocals sampled from Tyree Cooper’s classic 1988 track of the same name, “Turn Up The Bass” wastes no time delivering high-impact energy. Driven by a thunderous bassline, aggressive synth work, and relentless momentum, the track evolves into a festival-ready weapon packed with gritty textures, roaring low-end, and dynamic drops. The sampled vocals return throughout the breakdown before launching into a second drop that hits even harder than the first, cementing the track as a peak-time crowd igniter.
Originally premiered during Alesso and Martin Garrix’s highly talked-about Ultra B2B set, “Turn Up The Bass” instantly became one of the most requested IDs of the night. Since then, the record has continued making waves in Alesso’s performances while also receiving support from names like Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero, and Korolova.
Alesso is set to continue his summer tour with major club and festival appearances across Europe and the United States. Meanwhile, JOA’s rapid rise shows no signs of slowing down, with a packed schedule that includes his own festival performances and support slots for both Alesso and longtime collaborator Armin van Buuren.
