Musik Hack has officially launched HyFi, a new browser-based online mastering platform designed to bring the company’s renowned DSP technology to producers and musicians without the need for a traditional plug-in or subscription.
The company’s product range has been heavily shaped by the experience of founder and mixing engineer Stan Greene, with the Master Plan plug-in providing an all-in-one solution for users who want to take control of their own mastering. HyFi builds on that expertise, offering a more accessible, pay-as-you-go alternative that can be used across desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices.
Following an initial VIP soft launch, HyFi is now publicly available. The platform is powered by the same DSP technology found in Musik Hack’s plug-ins and is described by the company as essentially “Master Plan on the go.” Through a simple web-based interface, users can upload their mixes and choose from a range of loudness and character presets designed to deliver clear, powerful and tastefully saturated masters.
There is no subscription requirement. Instead, HyFi operates on a credit-based system, with mastering available from as little as $0.99 per track.
Once a track has been uploaded and processed, users can audition the results directly within the platform. A built-in A/B comparison tool makes it easy to switch between the original and mastered versions, as well as compare the result with a reference track. A gain-matching function is also included, helping prevent users from automatically favouring the louder version simply because it has a higher volume level.

According to Musik Hack, HyFi is only the first tool planned for the new platform, with additional products already in development. The company’s goal is to expand its online ecosystem while continuing to bring its mastering and processing expertise to a wider audience.
