“The Pack” is an honest testimony of the pain after the loss of a love, capturing the complexity of emotions that accompany the separation of two people who were once bound by a strong passion. With deeply personal lyrics and a melody that touches the heartstrings, the song was composed by Scurtu Gheorghe (The Urs), Vlad Lucan and Alex Pelin, the text was written by Scurtu Gheorghe (The Urs) and Alex Pelin, and the production was made by Vlad Lucan.
“The song “Haita” has its roots in 2020, when, during the pandemic, I decided to make a series of 1-minute songs – that’s how it was called “1 Minute Song”. “Haita” was episode 2 of this series, but it had a different form. Basically it was just the stanzas from the current structure. 4 years later the song happened to reach Alex Pelin, who felt it had something special, and wrote the chorus for it. As usual, the producer of the song is Vlad Lucan, whose fingerprint you will recognize out of a thousand if you have ever heard at least one song produced by him. I hope this song reaches your souls”, declared The Urs.
The video explores the fragility of relationships and was directed by Raluca Netca, DoP was Alexandru Mureșan, and production was done by Arkomo.
“The video was directed by Raluca Netca and her team. I don’t think it’s necessary to tell about their professional qualities, because you can see them in the final product. But I have to share with you my subjective feelings during the filming. I felt like I had a gallery of supporters behind the cameras, with a leader named Raluca who kept shouting: Yes! Ok! That’s right! Enjoy watching “, the artist also declared.
The Urs, whose real name is Scurtu Gheorghe, was born in the Republic of Moldova and is 30 years old. His passion for music was instilled in him by his mother, who was passionate about the violin. That’s how he also became curious about the guitar and rock music, which made The Urs go to Moscow in the 8th grade to work in construction to raise money for an electric guitar. A few years later, following a broken leg that immobilized him, he got The Urs to sit in the studio and start making different instrumentals. In 2013 he released his first track, under a different name, and since then work and perseverance have brought him to the point where he is today.
