Born on a sunny day in March 1995, with roots in the Dutch Caribbean, Naomi Sharon became the first child in a household that was filled with music and dancing. She knew very early on that she wanted to dedicate her life to these artforms.
After finishing the theater academy and successfully landing some acting gigs in major musicals, she laid her focus on her ambition in music. This resulted in her first independent release ‘The Moon’. Her second release ‘Breeze’ gave her international attention and an invitation to work on her music in LA. This accelerated her development as an artist.
Naomi’s music is drained with sensuality and is luscious, warm, modern with a hint of nostalgia. It also comes with a message. Inspired by the artists of the past she takes these sounds, brings them into the now, to create the future. Her mission is to reinstate the female powers that are sensuality and sexuality in music and beyond and to be a leading example of body positivity and self-love. Spiritually and physically.
Her latest offering ‘Daughter of The Sun’ is her new single that soothes and delights at the same time. A lounge and serene sound, the track pulls you into bliss and lets you whisk off to your own imaginative paradise.
