Shar-K

Catalin Nedelcu, known as Shar-K, was born in July 1982 in Bucharest. Raised on Hip Hop and House, he
discovered Deep House through the city’s underground parties and taught himself to mix in his late 20s.

Six years DJing in cruise-ship crew clubs and at pool parties shaped his funky, soulful sound. Back in
Bucharest, he built his name through residencies and bookings, sharing stages with local and international
names.
